What assistance is made available to citizens?

Public input to the Community Development Block Grant Program is encouraged at all stages of the CDBG program, including the development of community needs, review of the proposed CDBG funded activities, and review of the CDBG program performance.

Citizen participation in the neighborhood meetings will be accomplished by advertising in local newspapers, radio announcements, and mailings to area organizations and advocacy groups.

Where neighborhood area plans have not yet been developed, the City's Comprehensive Plan will be used for preliminary community needs listing.

Neighborhood areas will be determined by the City of St. Cloud Planning Office.

In case of a meeting being scheduled where a significant number of non-English speaking residence can be expected to participate, an effort will be made to find an interpreter.
