During the 31 years of the Community Development Program (which began in 1975), the City of St. Cloud has programmed approximately 12 million of CDBG funds on the following types of projects:
1. Housing rehabilitation loans and grants.
2. Capital improvements for area non-profit agencies
3. Acquisition and clearance of blighted property.
4. Construction of parks and playgrounds
5. Special assessment abatement.
6. Acquisition and construction of public facilities.
7. Youth employment.
8. Historical preservation.
9. Economic Development.
10. Installation of trees.
11. Commercial rehabilitation loans.
