Effective on June 1, 2010 the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program waiting list is closed until further notice. No applications will be taken for the vouchers until the program reopens. There is currently over a 4 year waiting list for those who have already applied from the date of application.
Additional $91,000 in NSP funds available NOW!!!July 8, 2010
The St. Cloud HRA was recently allocated an additional $91,000 in Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funding. Click here for more information. The St. Cloud HRA has already received and issued $1.9 million in NSP funds. The funds are available for the purchase and/or redevelopment of vacant and foreclosed homes - not prevention of foreclosures. For more information on purchasing a foreclosed home or downpayment assistance contact the Development Department at the HRA.
