Effective on June 1, 2010 the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program waiting list is closed until further notice. No applications will be taken for the vouchers until the program reopens. There is currently over a 4 year waiting list for those who have already applied from the date of application.

The loan is an interest free deferred loan for 30 years or until you sell the home. Funds may be used for interior or exterior improvements and there is no income limit for this program.
